havnt updated this for a while... but summer is coming (next thursday) so it will return.. Have you ever wondered why a smarties tube ISN'T a tube any more? it is some odd hexagonal/octagonal cardboard box. why the change? is it not round because fat kids cried when it rolled away from them? They were so handy (literally!) because you could get 5 of them and put them on your fingers so you would have long blue tube like fingers. we used our old ones to put over my sisters windchimes so that they would not be so noisy. why the change? Is it because of those little plastic tops, are they a saftey hazard, little children choking on them? (I can say that I came close to choking on one of them once!) but they were so cool.. they used to have little letters on the other side, i guess you could collect the whole alphabet. but i always had all the rubbish letters.. Q, X, T, P and O... what can you spell with that ?!? can you still get the little matchbox like boxes with smarties in? They had letters on the back too. All i remember having was 3 E's and another letter i can't remember. But do you remember the smarties Adverts? Back in the good old days (the 90's) My favorite advert was one where this (cartoon) boy was really bored, but then he had some smarties and then suddenly everything was really interesting. i remember this elephant came along and gave him a ride, and started blowing smarties out of its trunk! And aparently "Blue is back"... i never remember it leaving... so there you go. now you know my humble opinion about smarties. this is a picture of that new box. i want some smarties now....... |

end of an era... short hair comming soon, in other news, Joshua is off to liverpool on saturday, bring on the loooongest train ride of my life so far! |

so yeh, life of me... (feels quite odd writing a blog) saw this book in the libary the other day, was tempted to take a second look but didnt. made me smile anyways. Today i found out that im gonna go up 2 the land of liverpool on saturday to go to a uni open day, which shd be intresting.. went skatin in sutton with a friend and we went around sutton having a few near misses with a few people and the floor! |
